About image with sharpen and auto contrast

Postby Damien Sainmont » 05 Oct 2008, 10:25

Hi,

I use your software a lot. And I love the new filters "sharpen" and "auto contrast".
I have a simple question / need:
Is there a solution to save the full image file after applying these two filters?
my purpose is to print these images to have in a book: on the left the image and on the left the transcript.
Of course I have the full version of Transcript.

Best regards.

Hello Damien,

I'm sorry but at the moment it is not possible to save images with the changes/filters.

What you can do is select the part of the image you want (use the mouse image selection mode added in version 2.3.0) and copy that selection to the clipboard. Then paste that selection in your image manipulation program of choice and save to file.
Even better, use that image manipulation program to make changes to your image because such programs have far more choices on how to change the image than Transcript has. There are many good free programs to do that, e.g. Gimp, or for viewing and simple manipulations IrfanView.

Maybe I will add the possibility to save images in version 3 of Transcript but there's already a long list of things to add and I have almost no time to work on it so no promises.

Hi,

So what's new about Transcript?
I hope the project is not dead.

My best regards.

I am sorry Damien but at the moment I just lack the time to work on Transcript.
Besides that I had to install Windows 7 because of a broken motherboard and I haven't even installed my programming environment Delphi again and I'm not even sure my old version will run there.
My intention is to try to install it one of the next weeks but it's not likely that I will be able to do any programming requiring a lot of work anytime soon.
